Discovering the Secret of Secret Falls

Many people are looking for a good place to go because they are excited since we have been in a pandemic for a long time. It is sad to think that we are still unable to leave our homes and have fun, but we should be thankful that we finally have the chance to choose where we should go.

A glimpse of the magical view of secret falls

Together with my friends, we luckily found a perfect place in Doña Remedios Trinidad that is truly blessed with an exceptional waterfall. The Secret Falls is one of the hidden gems that show a magnificent natural tourist spot in Sitio Matilig-tilig Brgy. Camachile, DRT, Bulacan.

From Puning Cave, it takes about an hour for us to arrive at Secret Falls. We trekked for around 10-15 minutes before reaching their tourist site. It was exhausting to walk under the sun, but we were relieved when we met the locals of Brgy. Camachile, who had such a genuine and kind heart. We are thankful that they offered to take us on a ride going down the trail.

This is where the adventure begins

As soon as we arrived, we noticed a huge tarpaulin indicating that we were finally at the secret falls. We had a good impression on the site because the staff greeted and welcomed us with a big smile.

Natural beauty of nature

As we walked in, we were struck by how simple the place was yet how aesthetically pleasing it was. You can see how quiet and transparent the water pouring from the falls is, as well as the rocks beneath it.

There is only one way to go, the falls is pointing it out

The scenery of this place will mesmerize your eyes. We wish we could describe how meticulously the rock formation—and the river's water slide between them. How can the sun's beams in the afternoon, mingled with the breeze of this verdant jungle, give me small butterflies in the pit of my stomach. It was stunning.

Straight out of a movie scene

Because the water freely flows in the river, the waters continue to flow gently down the stream. The height is roughly 6-7 ft, which is ideal for experiencing mini dam balsa and tarzan, where you can swing from the rope and then jump into the water. Also, because the background was quite instagrammable, you can just take a picture and strike any pose that you like.

Secret Falls has a swimming pool for both kids and adults. This is for those who want to utilize running water and, in particular, for parents to be able to care for their children.

They also have a restroom where you may wash and change your clothes. It is free and clean. The dressing room is separated from the comfort room.

Finally, we understand what the true secret of the Secret Falls is. It's not just the natural landscape that makes them beautiful; it's the opportunity to rest as the water caresses our body, mind, and soul. It is nature's connection that keeps us comfortable. We were able to unwind, recharge, and laugh with our companions, who quickly became friends. We were able to form bonds in a short period of time and build memories that could last a lifetime.

The universe will occasionally allow us to have this experience. And when it occurs, we must do whatever it takes to grab the moment: be fully present.

A memory that will be forever in our hearts

Unfortunately, we had to leave before the sun set because we could not spend the night here. Before we left, we noticed that every time we passed behind the trees, there were birds that seemed to be singing, bidding farewell to us. It was so lovely and wholesome to hear that it took our souls left behind here in the Secret Falls.
